I am a printmaker and my imagery developes from my interest in women's issues, from life around me and from my history. My perspective reflects my experience growing up in Dayton,Ohio, during the 40's and 50's, and graduating from the University of Rochester in the 60's with a B.S. in education. I was wife and mother in the 60's, 70's and 80's, and a grandmother and art student in the 90's, graduating from the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida, in 2001 with a dual major in printmaking and painting. In the fall of 2001, I was part of a Judy Chicago and Donald Woodman project entitled, "At Home: a Kentucky Project" which took place on the University of Kentucky campus in Bowling Green, Kentucky. My husband and I now live in Sarasota, Florida, where I have a studio and etching press. I am very involved in both the art commumity and in the political life of Sarasota.
